Corn and Canola Oil Blend

Corn and Canola Oil Blend: Nutrition and Guide

A blend of corn oil and canola (rapeseed) oil combining the characteristics of both: corn oil contributes high-temperature stability and a mildly distinct flavour, while canola oil brings the better omega-3:omega-6 ratio and lower saturated fat content. The resulting blend (884 kcal, 8 g saturated fat per 100 g) has a moderately low saturated fat content and reasonable omega balance — better than pure corn oil in omega-3 content due to the canola component. This type of blend is common in commercial cooking applications where cost, stability, and moderate nutritional performance are all requirements. Use for frying, roasting, baking, and any general-purpose cooking application.
